Pick Me Up is a pioneering independent theatre company that first took to the York stage in 2012. 

 

Previous shows have included Sondheim's Follies, Assassins, Sweeney Todd and Into The Woods, Stiles and Drewe's Betty Blue Eyes and Peter Pan The Musical, the UK premiere of Stephen Dolginoff's Monster Makers, as well as his Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story, the UK premiere of Disenchanted!, and the York premieres of Shakespeare in Love, The Addams Family, Ghost, Dogfight, The Pitmen Painters and Private Peaceful. 

 

Shows in 2025 include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Oklahoma! and Fun Home.
